A recount called for by William “Skeet” Phillips in the wake of the March 2 race between Phillips and incumbent Precinct 2 County Commissioner Ray Clark in the Republican Primary indicated a minor change in the number of votes, but did not change the outcome, the Messenger has learned.

(DALLAS, March 11, 2010) — William “Skeeter” Phillips, a 15-year-old patient at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) in Dallas and a Forney, Texas, resident recently attended the hospital’s 29th Annual Amputee Ski Trip in Winter Park, Colo. The week-long trip began with a send-off party at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, hosted by American Airlines and the Admirals Club.

Lindale (March 6, 2010)—Coming into the Region III Division 1 Power Lifting Championships, Rishaad Wimbley knew that he would need to perform at a very high level if he wanted to make it back to the State Meet.
