A two-car accident marred the relative quiet in the 100 block of Main Street at approximately 8:00 a. m. Friday, but there were no injuries in the mishap.
The accident occurred when a 2008 Ford Mustang driven by 16-year-old Hailey Kristine Hicks of Forney collided with a 2006 Honda Accord driven by Tony Van Nguyen, 47, also of Forney as Hicks, who was driving westbound on Main, was attempting a left-hand turn into a parking place on Main. The vehicle driven by Nguyen struck the Hicks vehicle in the eastbound lane of East Main as Nguyen was making a right-hand turn at the southwest corner of East Main and South Bois d’Arc.
Both cars were drivable after the accident and were driven from the scene by their respective drivers.
Investigation of the accident was completed at the scene.
