Suspicious chemicals found at Forney business Aug. 7

On Friday, August 7, 2009, officers from the Forney Police Department responded to Nirvana Tan in reference to a follow-up of an ongoing investigation. While there, police discovered suspicious chemicals and other items of interest.
A search warrant was obtained and the Forney Police Department contacted the DEA due to the nature of the chemicals which police found. A disposal team was dispatched to the location and took possession of the chemicals. Because of the nature of other items found at the scene, the ATF was also contacted.
This matter is still under investigation and the Forney Police Department asks anyone who has any information to contact Forney PD at 972-552-3932.
