The Forney EDC is looking forward to the much anticipated Turkey Trax Autorama this Sunday to be held on the streets of Downtown Forney starting at 12:00 p. m.  The event offers FREE ADMISSION to the public as well as live music, face painting, a balloon artist, and other demonstrations.  A full food court will offer refreshments for purchase from 4 T’s BBQ, Las Trojas, Brady’s Burgers, Saragusa’s Sausage, Doe Belly’s, Ronoco Consessions and downtown locations Napoli’s and the Donut shop.  The EDC will be selling t-shirts and water.

Live music will be center stage at Main St. and Elm St. by Scott Whitaker.  Whitaker is a resident of Forney who has penned more than thirty songs, many of which he professionally recorded throughout the past couple of years.  Whitaker has opened for numerous high profiled artists such as Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, and Le Ann Rimes.  

Unique Karz will be there for registering all car, bike and cycle classes.  Registration fees are $15, or $10 plus five non-perishable food items.  Prizes will be awarded in many categories, including the sought after “Mayors Choice.”  Kids may enter their mini-models, bikes and pedal cars for free.
