Citywide cleanup

Citywide cleanup will be Sat., May 17 from 8 a. m. to 1 p. m. at the FHS parking lot. All city residents should bring their water bill and any junk they want to discard. If you live outside the City of Forney, you may take your discarded items to the Precinct 2 Maintenance Barn at FM 2932 and FM 741.

Team Velocity

Team Velocity of Forney will have registration for their summer track program May 19-22 and May 27-29 at Warren Middle School’s Jackrabbit Stadium from 6 to 8 p. m. Additional signups will be on May 31 at the Celebration of Youth sports event sponsored by TVYSA at Mustang Crossing Shopping Center.

United Way

The Forney United Way’s 2008 campaign is still in progress, and the number of people and organizations that need United Way assistance in Forney is growing. Please consider contributing!
