Street closing

Everyone is reminded that on Sat., Mar. 6, Bois d’Arc (FM 740) will be CLOSED at Front Street  beginning at 8:00 until 5:00 p. m. for drainage repair. The roadway should be open to traffic by 5:00 p. m. Please follow detour signage.

Recycling Roundup

The City of Forney is sponsoring a Recycling Roundup at the community park Sat., Mar. 6 from 9:00 a. m. to 12 noon for city residents only. You must bring your wate bill as proof of residency. There will be no fee for recycling items. For further information, see the ad in this issue.

American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society, in connection with the annual Relay for Life event to be held in Forney in May, will honor all Forney cancer survivors with a free brunch Sat., Mar. 13, from 10:30 a. m. to 12:30 a. m. at the Best Western, 512 Pinson Rd. in Forney.
