Forney Messenger, Inc: Candidate filing period starts for 2010 municipal election

On February 2, 2010, the City Council ordered a general election to be held on May 8, 2010. The City Secretary made Potential Candidate Packets available for pickup beginning February 3.

The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Monday, February 8, 2010. The last day to file for a place on the ballot is March 8, 2010.
