Forney (Tuesday, September 1, 2009)—With an enthusiastic crowd cheering them on, North Forney beat Frisco Heritage in an exciting 5-set match by a count of 25-15, 17-25, 25-23, 25-27, 15-10.

With this win, North Forney improves to 6-11 on the season.

Sparked by the play of Brittny Norris and Shelby Hedrick (Good Serving), the Lady Falcons jumped out to an early lead in Game 1 and never looked back on their way to winning the game by a count of 25-15.

In Game 2, North Forney struggled to find any offensive rhythm and Frisco Heritage took advantage of it as the Lady Coyotes won the game 25-17.

Game 3 was full of many momentum shifts. North Forney built an early lead in the game, but by the middle of the game that lead had disappeared thanks to a strong rally by Frisco Heritage. With the game tied at 18-all, North Forney, behind the strong serving of Sarah Friesen, took a late lead in the game.  At this point in the game, the crowd was going nuts and the players were rising to the occasion.  In this wild and intense game, North Forney would eventually emerge victorious 25-23 when Brittny Norris pounded down a ferocious kill on game point.

In Game 4, North Forney had their chances to win the match but they were not able to convert them and consequently they lost the game 27-25.

So the match would come down to a 5th and deciding game. In the 5th game, Brittny Norris (Good Serving and Hitting) and Shelby Hedrick (Good Hitting) led the Lady Falcons to victory by a count of 15-10.
