Lady Rabbits roll over Lancaster in 3 games

Lancaster (Friday, October 9)—Even without their Head Coach, the Lady Rabbits rolled over Lancaster in 3 game by a count of 25-19, 25-14, and 25-15.

It should be noted that Head Coach Lisa Rockhill and her daughter Sarah Anderson did not coach or play on Friday vs. Lancaster due to the fact that they were sick.  

With the win, Forney improves to 17-15 overall and to 5-3 in District 15-4A play, With the loss, Lancaster falls to 17-17 and 1-7.

Several Rabbit women played well in the match. They were Kylie Brown (Several Kills in Game 1),  

Stephanie Nance (Good Hitting in the Match), Nicole Briley (Numerous Assists in the Match),  Jordan Wilson ( Good Hitting in the Match), Laini Briley (Excellent Serving Run in Game 3).

Lady Rabbits fall to Terrell in 3 games

Terrell (Tuesday, October 6)—Tuesday night  was a tough night at the office for the Forney Lady Rabbits volleyball team vs. the Terrell Lady Tigers.

Playing without their star outside hitter Kylie Brown who was sick,  the Forney Lady Rabbits ran into a determined team of Lady Tigers

Terrell won the match in 3 games by a count of 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.

With the win, Terrell improves to 21-7 overall on the season and to 4-3 in District 15-4a play. With the loss, Forney falls to 16-15 and 4-3.

Lauren Whitehead (Several Kills in Games 1 and 2) and the Briley sisters Laini and Nicole (Good Passing the match) played solid matches for Forney. But it was not enough as the Tigers came away with the victory.

Ciara Holmes (Several Kills in the Match), Tonisha Dean (Good Hitting and Blocking in the Match), and Bre Jackson (Several Assists in the Match) led the way for Terrell in the match.
