Four make Academic All-State in tennis

Four Forney tennis players have been named to the Academic All-State Team, the Forney Messenger learned Tuesday.
To be named Academic All State in tennis, a player must be in the top 10 per cent of his or her graduating class.
Kasey Morrison (second in her class) and Shelby Barron (fifth in her class) will represent the girls. Jonathan Appleton and Austen Wood will represent the boys. Both Appleton and Wood are in the top ten per cent of their graduating class.
