On Thursday, May 7th, Red oak beat Forney by a count of 1-0.
With the loss, Forney ends the regular season at 13-15 overall and 8-4 in District 15-4A play.
Both Forney and Red Oak finished 8-4 in District 15-4A play (tied for 2nd place).
By virtue of their two victories over Forney in District play, Red Oak will be the 2nd seed while Forney will be the 3rd seed.
Forney will either play Waco Midway or Waxahachie in the Bi District round of the Playoffs.
The 4 playoff teams out of District 15-4A are Mesquite Poteet, Red Oak, Forney, and Terrell.
