Rhea Elementary hopes to make 6th grade tree planting an annual event

Sixth grade students at Rhae Elementary School planted a tree in the grassy area behind the cafeteria Monday morning.
The tree planting was performed to commemorate the first class to graduate from Rhae Elementary which, like all of FISD’s elementary campuses, educates students from K through 6th grade.
A plaque will be affixed to the tree commemorating the Rhea Elementary Class of 2009. It is hoped that the tree planting will become an annual event.
Michael Adams of Adams Landscape donated the tree.
