Students, teachers and parents seemed excited to start the 2009-’10 school year at Johnson Elementary.  The hustle and bustle was apparent on the first day, but by pledge time, parents had left and students were already back in the routine.  Everyone is expecting a great school year at this Exemplary campus.

Meet the Teacher night proved to be a huge success.  Amidst the excitement of seeing old friends, meeting new teachers and eating snow cones, the PTO was busy with their annual membership drive.  Eighty new families joined the PTO and many Panther Pride spirit shirts were distributed. The PTO thanks all the parents and teachers who made Meet the Teacher a successful night.

If you are interested in joining the PTO, please visit the link on the Johnson Web site where you can find contact information for any of Johnson’s PTO board members. Also, information about the Johnson PTO is provided in your child’s Tuesday folder throughout the year.  PTO is a great way to get involved in your child’s education and to help support the teachers and students at Johnson Elementary.

An exciting year is planned at Johnson Elementary, and we encourage all of our wonderful parents and community to help support our school.
