FHS PTO contributes toward FELF grant, PTO at NFHS

The FHS PTO recently presented a $1000 check to the Forney Education Leadership Foundation (FELF) to use toward the teacher grant entitled “Interactive Writing Pads for the FHS Math Department-Grades 9-12”.
The FHS PTO recently presented a $1000 check to the Forney Education Leadership Foundation (FELF) to use toward the teacher grant entitled “Interactive Writing Pads for the FHS Math Department-Grades 9-12”. They also presented Interim FHS principal Dr. Joe Kucera with a check for $500 to help fund the beginning of a PTO at North Forney High School. Members of the Foundation present when the checks were presented included Jim Goldston, Kevin Warren, Lisa Taylor and Cary Griffin. School Board members included David Walker and John Taylor. FHS Principal Dr. Kucera and FISD Superintendent Dr. Darrell Brown were also present. PTO members present included Latricia Walker, Bonnie Warren, and Maria Jasso.
