The students at Crosby Elementary were excited about Earth Day, April 22! Many activities were planned throughout the day such as a parade, creating a model of your teacher from recyclables, and planting shrubs on the campus’ grounds. Students also competed to see which side of the school can fill a washing machine size box with recyclable paper products by the end of Earth Day. The competition took place between the primary (K-2) and intermediate (3-6) grade levels. Students from the winning side will get to paint the faces of teachers from the losing side green during the campus Spirit Rally scheduled for Friday, April 24.
