“Pass the bucket, pass the bucket if you donate a dollar more you can put your name up and that’s for sure!” was the theme song at Brown for our Pennies for Patients drive.
The one and only BMS student council collected $1,632.13 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. Students have worked very hard donating from pennies to dollar bills. Brown students and teachers did everything they could do to help the cause.
Mrs. Tamyla Hasbrouck and Mr. Dustin Swann, helped the Student Council begin selling bracelets, collecting for an un-tuck day, jean day, and taking donations by the penny.
All of this generosity really added up. Mrs. Emily Elzner’s 5th period class raised the most money and was rewarded a “pasta party” hosted by Olive Garden.
Brown has a fabulous way of showing there colors, and for the Pennies for Patients collection that color was GREEN!
