Kaufman County District Attorney Rick Harrison was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated around midnight Thursday, June 18.
Seagoville police arrested Harrison in the 200 block of Seagoville Road. Harrison posted bond a few hours later.
In December 1994, Harrison was apprehended in a DWI case while serving as an assistant DA in Dallas County. He was prompted to resign after that arrest.
Harrison narrowly won election as Kaufman County DA in 2006.
