The annual Kaufman County Hay Show is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the Kaufman County Fair Grounds on Hwy. 34, south of Kaufman.  All hay producers in the area are encouraged to enter a bale or sample from a round bale.  Entries will be analyzed for crude protein at no charge.  All entries are due by Saturday, October 3, 2009 by 12:00 p.m.

An entry will consist of a small square bale or a sample from a round bale. A round bale sample should fill a large feed bag in order to be properly judged at the show.

Remember, entries are due by Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 12:00 p. m. Registration and hay judging will begin at 5:00 p. m. and the hay auction will begin at 6:30 p. m.
