On October 15, 2009, Blackburn Elementary’s 5th and 6th grade students preformed an outstanding program! The singing was wonderful, the pitches were awesome, and it’s all thanks to the school’s music teacher Mrs. Teresa Dodson.
Mrs. Karla Richardson, our school counselor decided to help make students aware of current events in the world around us and generate some spirited competition at the same time. She initiated the Red River Rivalry Shootout.
The results from the Hispanic Heritage Month Contest are in!
We wanted to celebrate with an essay contest for the upper grades (3rd-6th) and a drawing contest for grades Pre- k through 2nd.
